Day 13 gong home

Now it is time to head back to the cold. Have to say I am looking forward to going home. It was nice being away but I was starting to get home sick. I want to sleep in my own bed.

Bob got the boys their breakfast and I went thru all the cabinets and drawers upstairs to make sure we did not forget anything. When I came down Bob got the boys ready to go swimming in the pool. It was raining but who cares you are wet anyway.
I had my breakfast and then got Hailey up. She had her breakfast and then went to swim with the boys so we could finish packing everything.

We had to be out of there by 10 am so we had a deadline. I don't know how we did it but we had way more stuff to come home with us then we took there. We had to take the car seat and carry it instead of packing it like we did on the way there. We also had to leave 1/2 package of diapers, 1 1/2 packages of swimmers and 1/2 package of pull ups. Can you say $$ but it would have cost us double the cost to try and pack them.

At 10 am we where just taking our suitcases to the van. The management company was there. They where nice and answered all our questions when I phoned. So we had to put in time so we went to the Big Target and did some looking around and window shopping. The boys where looking at the toys and getting their list for Santa ready. Yes Santa list in Feb lol.

After all this excitement it was still only 11 am so we went to Bob Evans for lunch. The food was good and it was cheap $23.00 for all of us. Bob double checked the bill as he thought they forgot to charge us for something. Nope that was the bill.

Now we headed to the airport about a 30 minute drive. The traffic was busy but moving. We found the Rental Car drop off. They have that done to a science. You drive up, they scan the VIN number leave the keys in the vehicle and get your luggage out and that is it. It was a bit difficult trying to move, 4 suitcases, 4 carry ones and car seat and 3 kids. But Hailey was a big help and the boys where cooperating. We wanted to use the luggage cart but it cost $4.00 and the hertz office did not have change for the $10.00 he had.

Anyway we got our boarding passes printed. I was worried about this on the way there I printed them at home. But Southwest has an area for you to do that. We got rid of our luggage. Two of them where like 49 something pounds so we where not over the weight allowed. I have to say I do not like Orlando Airport. There is not enough room at the counters and too many stores. You would think they could have made the check in a bit bigger. Now we had to go thru security. There was lots and lots of people. We went to the left. I have heard this is the way to go so we did it. The security officer was really nice and friendly. Some people where tyring to get in between Bob, the kids and me but the security officer just told them to wait as this family has to stay together. Do I mentioned I really liked this security officer. As we went to the left we where surround by veteran travellers so no one was pushy or in a hurry. One guy even let us go ahead of him and this is after I offered to let him go in front of us as we where going to be a while. We went thru security with no issue and put our shoes on out of the way.

No we had to find our gate. It was 1 pm and our flight was supposed to leave at 3:40. We had to hurry up and wait. The kids where very good. Bob took the boys for a walk around the airport this time and that put in some time. No tummy issues this time for me Thank God. Our flight was delayed till 3:55. We got Isaac a blue pass again and he and Bob where like the 5th people on the plane this time. There where 4 or 5 seniors in wheelchairs on this flight. There was also a Mom, who looked very sick. Her son had a black eye and was talking with Bob. He caught a baseball with his eye. He liked Bob and Isaac's hat. Makes you really appreciate what you have. I would say this lady had cancer and was taking her kids on a fun filled trip. Made me will hug my kids just a little big tighter. Anyway this time we sat behind Bob in the back seat. The plane was not full so Bob and Isaac got to sit by themseves. Cameron joined Bob mid flight but came back to sit with me as Daddy didn't help him with his stuff he had. The flight was very bumpy and rough. However we made it to Buffalo early. Not sure how that works as we left later but Bob said it has something to do with the wind. Our flight crew this time did their job but they where not as friendly and out going as the flight crew down there.
After we got of the plane we did bathroom breaks and then went and got our luggage. Bob and Hailey went to find the van and I stayed with the boys. Cameron was so cold he was shaking. Found his coat and put in on. It was cold in Buffalo. Our van was not too covered in snow and Bob found it no problem. The roads where great so we headed home, the boarder crossing was easy and we had no issues. We stopped off at Tim Hortons as Hailey as hungry she did not eat her PB & J sandwich on the plane. The boys where asleep by this time. We arrived home around 9:30 and could not believe how much snow was on Bob's car. We got a lot of snow when we where in Florida.

It is so nice to Home. Home Sweet Home. Even the cat came and said hello to us. I think she might have missed us.

Day 12 Feb 9, 2011

Wow this is our last day at the parks. This has been an awesome trip. The kids are having so much fun. Not looking forwarded to going back to the cold and the snow.

We are planning on going to Magic Kingdom for our last day and we are going later in the morning and then going back after supper to see the fireworks.

We took the monorail to the park this time. Our first stop was the Walt Disney railroad. We got off at Frontierland. Bob, Hailey, Isaac and Cameron went on Big Thunder railroad. After this we where headed for Pirates of Caribbean. We took a wrong turn and ended up dancing and singing at the Country Bear Jamree. We did get back on track in the right direction and ended up at Pirates of the Caribbean. There was no line for this ride at all. This ride was very disappointing for all us. There was so much hype about this ride from other people and all the books I had read. We where not impressed at all. It was boat ride with scenes from the movie along the way. I have never seen the movies so maybe that is why I was disappointed. On the way out we say Pirate Goofy. As Cameron had worn his pirate hat and shirt he wanted to see Goofy. So we went and had his picture taken with him. Goofy then had to have his picture taken with Bob as Bob was wearing his goofy hat. Next stop Jungle Cruise there was about a 30 minute wait for this ride but with Isaac pass we got right into the fast pass lane and passed everyone. Everyone loved this ride and our tour guide was great. Bob talked me into going on the next ride with the kids. It was The Magic Carpets of Aladdin. Basically the same ride as Dumbo but with carpets instead of an elephant. The kids like the ride. Last but not least Isaac and I went on Splash Mountain. No one else wanted to get wet. Most of the people coming off the ride where pretty dry so I was not worried. They turn down the water in the colder months. This was a cool ride, I thought it was just the big drop but they have scene from the Briar Rabbit story and you go down about 2 or 3 drops to get you ready for the big one. Needless to say Isaac and I sat at the front of the boat and we got soaked. I mean really soaked. Thank Gosh it was not too cold.

We went back to the townhouse and had lunch, naps, and a swim. Then we had supper. After supper we headed back to the park. First stop was the show Laugh Floor, thank Gosh we got there when we did as we saw the last show of the day. We then went on the People Mover. This ride takes you about tommorrowland and gives you a great view. It was cool to see everything at night. Bob, Cameron and Isaac then went on Buzz Lightyears' Space Ranger spin. They let Cameron drive and he is a crazy driver.

After all this we thought we had better go and claim a spot for the fireworks. I wanted to sit far away as I was worried about Cameron with the noise and Isaac with all the people. Bob convinced me to sit along the path. We had good view and there was not a lot of people. First we saw The Magic, the Memories and you. They basically show a film on the castle so cool. However they turn the lights down for this and Bob had taken Isaac to the bathroom and Hailey had went to get me some popcorn and a ice cream for herself, so I was starting to get worried that no one would get to us. They all made it fine. Then we saw the fireworks. No one does it better than Disney. It was not too loud for Cameron but the baby standing beside us started to cry. The Mom was so worried he was bothering us. No problem is what I said, been there and done that, as soon as she could move their family they went a bit further away. After the fireworks we stayed where we where for a while to avoid the crowds and then went towards the castle as everyone else was gong away. To put in more time we did a little bit of window shopping. We took the ferry back to the TTC. Cameron waved goodbye to Mickey Mouse. It was so sad our vacation is over. But then the boys where all excited that they get to go on a plane again.

Day 11 Feb 8, 2011

Another cool morning today. We are off to Animal Kingdom. Hopefully it is not as crowded as the other day we went.

The first thing we did was go to Dino land USA and went on the ride Dinosaur. I was worried Cameron might get to scared but Bob thought he would be fine. You ride in a vehicle and supposedly you go back in time to try and bring a dinosaur back with you. It was a very rough ride. My back was sore after this one. Cameron was a bit scared as there was some dark areas and the dinosaurs where big and loud. Next we rode Triceratops spin twice. There was no line for this ride at all. It is the same as the Dumbo ride at Magic Kingdom. You are riding dinosaurs instead of a elephant. The Primeval Whirl was being worked on so we could not go on that ride.

Now we had to rush to go and see Lion King it was clear across the park. We made it and got to go in the wheel chair lane because of Isaac's pass. We could have picked a seat anywhere. We decided not to pick the seat right in front as the cast member said that you would be up close and I thought the boys might not like that. It was just as good as last time. I was singing and clapping along. The two ladies in front of us where so nice and make sure they moved apart so Cameron could see. Bob thinks the monkeys stole the show. We got to sit in the giraffe secion and learned that giraffee's baa like sheep.

Now we where off to lunch at Rain forest cafe. I wanted to make reservations somewhere else but all the choices where something I didn't think my kids would like. This is considered outside the park so you had to go thru the turn styles and use your pass to get back in. The themeing for this restaurant was awesome. Our reservation was for 11am but we got there at noon. No problem we got in right away. They must pay the waiters commission or something like that as our waitress tried to get us to pay extra for a kids cup, tired her best to get us to order appetizers and was disappointed we did not order dessert for the kids. Even without all the it still cost almost $75.00. This was our last big treat for the kids.

So after lunch we walked back to Dino Land and let the kids play in The Bone yard. Bob went with Isaac and Hailey took Cameron and I had to stayed and watch all our bags. The kids loved it, they have slides and things for your to climb on and they have a bone yard the kids can dig in as well. There is only one exit so you can let your kids run wild if you would like. Some people did, with Isaac we can't do that so Bob kept a good watch on him. Isaac has improved so much, he didn't melt down when someone budded in front of him or pushed him it was nice not to have to worry so much.

After all the fun we headed back to the townhouse and the kids went swimming again. They just love that pool. I purchased water wings and a float and some pucks from the dollar store. The kids used them every day. Sometimes the stuff at the dollar store is worth it.

Can't believe that tommorrow is our last day at the parks. Where did the time go.

Day 10 February 7, 2011

We had to decide if we where going to go to Hollywood Studio's today or Epcot. Hollywood Studio's won the vote. We are planning on 1/2 a day as yesterday was a long day.

The first thing we did was go and see Voyage of the Little Mermaid. Cameron got picked to Welcome everyone to the show. We had Isaac as the back up as he did not know if Cameron would be able to do it or not. They both did great. This was an awesome show. Some of it was a movie, some of it was like the Little People Theatre and some of it was live actors. I really enjoyed it and so did the kids. Next we went and did the Studio Back Lot tour. This was really cool, you got to see a sort of stunt show first where they showed you how they did some shooting scenes and such for a movie about Pearl Harbour. Then we got to go on a tram and see some props for old movies, then we got to go on a stage that had a fire and rain storm really cool. Next Bob, Hailey and Isaac went and saw Sounds Dangerous. Cameron does not like loud noises so he and I sat on a bench and people watched. The kids wanted to do the Toy Story ride again. So Bob took them and I sat with all their stuff. Last not not least we went and saw the Beauty and the Beast show. The kids loved it. I was unsure how they would react but they sat still and really enjoyed the show.

We went back to the townhouse and had pizza for lunch. I took the kids swimming in the townhouse pool while Bob made a trip to Wal Mart to get Isaac's glasses fixed. The screw fell out of it. I phoned Wal Mart and they said they would fix it for us. They didn't even charge us. After Bob came back everyone had a nap.
The boys had PB & J for supper and Hailey, Bob and I had my homemade potato soup and garlic bread.

After supper I took Hailey to the resort pool and Bob did some homework with the boys. We meet a family for New Found Land at the pool. They where around Hailey's age so she played with them for a bit.

Day 9 Feb 6, 2011

Well Grandma and Papa left very very early this morning. I think I heard them around 6 am. Sad to see them go it was nice having extra help. Hope they have fun on the rest of their journey.

The weather was cold and raining. We made sure we had our umbrellas and rain coats. It was just sprinkling when we left so we just put the kids in their coats. We did Epcot today. This is our second day there and are planning on doing the world showcase. Don't know how long the boys will last but we will see.

The first ride we did was Universe of Energy with Ellen Degenegers. A very cool ride. The whole audience goes on the ride thru the beginning of earth. Next Cameron and I went and did a few things in Innoventions East and Bob, Hailey and Isaac went and did Test Track and Mission Space. Hailey was so disappointed in Test Track. Last time we where at Disney she was on in the car and it broke down. I made her get out as it was 9:30 at night and I was worried my Mother would be so worried as she had gone back to our hotel room at 4:30 as soon as Hailey and I where walking down the ramp the ride started again. Anyway Hailey said the ride just goes around the track she was very very disappointed. In the Mission Space ride Isaac was the pilot, Hailey was the navigator.

We had lunch at the Electric Umbrella. Nuggets for the kids and hamburgers and fries for Bob and me. It was good food and they had colouring pages for the kids so they liked that. The sun started to come out and it had stopped raining.

Now we where gearing up for a around the world tour. The First stop was Mexico. The kids got their card board bear that you can colour and you get a stamp at each country. We did the ride there Gran Fiesta Tour starring the Three Caballeros. It is a cute boat ride and the kids loved it. Norway was next and Isaac wanted to do the Kim Possible adventure. You get a cell phone and it has you do a few things to try and save the country. It was not what we expected at all. Poor Bob and the boys where all over Norway. It had no logic you went here there and everywhere. Needless to say we only did one adventure. We all went on the ride at Norway which was Maelstrom. This is all the rides they have at the world showcase so Bob and I decided we would go to every country but just let the kids get their stamp and not try and see everything at each country because it really is just a bunch of gift shops with stuff for that country. China was next and the art work on the ceiling of the building was breath taking. Germany has a miniature village next to it. The boys like it and wanted to watch the trains go around. The next countries where Italy where they had a guy doing tricks with a soccer ball, The American Adventure, have to say very disappointed that they did not have much to show for USA, Japan and then Morocco. Next was France and Hailey had to complete a homework assignment by talking to someone in French for 5 minutes with proper grammar. She only lasted about 2 minutes but the lady said Hailey spoke very well. Next on the world tour was United Kingdom. Isaac was thrilled that they had a maze and he had to go thru it. At this point Cameron was getting tired and just wanted to sit and play on my blackberry. I sat with him while Bob took the big kids and got their bears stamped. Pooh and Tiger where in the United Kingdom with no line up and no kids but our kids where not interested so Bob just got a picture of them. We where all excited now to head off to Canada. The best country of course. The band was playing so we sat on the ground and listened for a little bit. We just got the end of the show. All of us did the gift shop and then I sat with Cameron while he played cars. We sat right outside the gift shop beside a totem poll. It had a hidden Mickey on it and I got to help about 10 people find it. Bob took the big kids to see the Canadian film. It starred Martin Short. Everyone seemed to enjoy it.

This was a very long day at the park. We picked up Wendy's for supper. It was cold outside so the kids did not want to go swimming. So they did some more homework and off to bed they went.

Day 8 Feb 5, 2011

Today was a lazy day. We where not going to any parks today. We got to sleep in until 7 am. yeah!!!! Grandma and I made a big breakfast for everyone. Bacon, Eggs, Toast and sad sad pancakes. I bought the pancake mix where you just add water and shake. However I did not have a measuring cup so I had to guestamate and I guestamated a little bit too much water. You can't take it out. They looked gross but tasted yummy the kids even ate them.

I decided that I did not want to go shopping at Downtown Disney as I would probably buy stuff we didn't need and the boys did not want to go at all. So Bob took Hailey and his parents to Downtown Disney.

I took the boys to the play structure and brought the pass key this time. They had so much fun and I meet some other people from Canada. The boys even made sand castles. After playing we came back and I let the boys swim in the pool at the townhouse.

Bob took this parents and Hailey to the Biggest Disney store in the world, Once Upon a Toy and the Lego store.

After lunch the boys and Hailey went swimming and Grandma and Papa went to Wal Mart and a few other stores. They brought home the biggest strawberries I have ever seen. They had purchased them on the side of the road for $2.00. They where huge. I did not take a picture and now I wish I would have.

Now it was time to go to the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue. We went and parked at the Fort Wilderness Lodge and then took the resort bus to the Pioneer Hall where the Hoop Dee Doo Musical is held. We should have paid more attention more on that a bit later. While we where waiting in line Cameron got picked to ring the dinner bell. He thought this was really fun. We got to sit upstairs on the balcony. I liked these seats as you could see everything. They started us off with a salad and corn bread. They did not have much for the kids so we ordered the boys PB & J and Hailey Macaroni and Cheese. The serve the food family style. You get fried chicken, Ribs, corn bread (my favourite) and baked beans. Hailey did not like the Macaroni and Cheese so she ended up having PB & J as well. The show was funny and cute and down right good fun. They had a couple celebrating their 62nd anniversary. They sang and they got to dance. 62 years that is a long long long time to be married. The gentleman almost fell getting out of his chair, I am assuming the couple had to be in their 80's but he held his own when dancing with his wife and even gave her a kiss on the cheek. Too cute, Too cute. I Hope Bob and I are still in love after 62 years.

When we exited the show it was dark. They had a wagon and horse if you wanted to go on a wagon ride. Cameron wanted to but no one else did so we did not do that. We went to the bus stop where we had gotten off but could not find out what bus we had to take to get back to get us to where we had parked. The map was not very helpful. The first bus driver was very rude and not helpful at all. We waited about 20 minutes and got on the yellow bus. It drove around all the bus stops at the campground. We where starting to get worried as we did not know what to do. The bus driver got out of his seat and talked to us and told us he would get us to where we need to go he just had to due the loop one more time. So we did the loop and he took us to the bus stop at Fort Wilderness Lodge. We found the Van and drove home. We even saw some fireworks on the drive back. I had to drive as they gave Bob a pitcher of beer at the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue. So that is one of the reasons the price is so high.

Grandma and Papa where leaving first thing in the morning so we gave hugs and kisses and wished them a safe journey.

Day 7 Feb 4, 2011

Well Hailey is still not feeling well. Bob and I decided to give Hailey her pills (as not to screw up her system) but let her sleep in and I would meet everyone at the park later on in the day. Since we had our rental Van and Grandma and Papa's vehicle we could do that.

We had gone back and forth from going to Magic Kingdom today or Hollywood Studios. The decision was made to go back to Hollywood Studios as Papa and Grandma only had a 2 day pass and I thought it would be better for them to do two different parks instead of the same one. I quickly got on the phone and got reservations for 5 at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre Restaurant. My brother David and Shawn went there when then went in 2008 and said it was really cool and thought my boys would love it.

So off they went while Hailey slept. While they where away I got on a cleaning spree (Doesn't happen very often) I vacuumed, mopped the floor, did a couple of loads of laundry, organized my receipts, cleaned the bathroom downstairs and then sat down and watched some TV. Hailey got up around 10:30 had a little bit to eat and was still complaining about her stomach and now her throat. She had used all our adult gravel so we made the decision to go to the Super Target to pick up a few things. Hailey was feeling a little bit better as she wanted to look around and do a bit of shopping. After shopping we came back and had lunch. Hailey decided that she did not want to go to the park today and wanted to take it easy. I thought this was a good idea as we still had 5 more days to see and do things. She went upstairs and fell asleep. She really did I went and checked on her.

This is what Papa, Grandma, Bob, Isaac and Cameron did at the park. The first thing that the Big Boys did (Papa and Bob) was greet Goofy and get their picture taken with them. Bob is so much like his Dad they are big kids at heart makes life fun. Next they went to The Magic of Disney Animation. The boys played some games and then they had a drawing lesson. They teach you how to dry a character. Today the character was goody. After this they went on The Great Movie Ride. Bob did not tell me anything about this so I don't really know what it is all about. According to my Book it is a seated ride where you see scene from classic movies enacted by Audio-Animatroncis.

Now it was lunch time. They went to Sci-Fi Dine In Theater Restaurant. You get to sit in vintage cars; the got to sit in a pink Cadillac, and watch movies like at a Drive In. Bob said the hamburgers where great and the boys like having their pizza on a Mickey Plate. Bob's parents thought it was a bit expensive with $20.00 a piece for a hamburger but they did get a special drink that comes with a light up tinker bell. This is Disney after all and nothing is cheap here.

After lunch they went to the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular. Bob reported that the benches where cold but the show was fun. They had three set changes and a exploding airplane. Grandma and Papa went to see Back lot Express tour and Bob took the boys to the Honey I shrunk the movie set. This is a play area for the kids with slides and things to climb on. The boys loved it and did not want to leave.

Now it was time to take a break and hopefully watch a parade. Isaac wanted a balloon $10.00 but we had given them their own money and had told them they could spend it on what they wanted. So Isaac got his balloon. Bob said the parade was great. They saw the Incrediables, Bugs Life, Ratatouee, Monsters Inc. Up, Toy Story.

Before they left the boys wanted to do Toy Story Midway Mania again. They drove back to the townhouse and the boys and Hailey went swimming in the pool.

For supper we had my stir fry and potatoes, with Hailey and the boys having PB and J and yogurt and some fruit.

A good day was had by all.

Day 6 Feb 3, 2011

Grandma and Papa are gong to do some shopping today and pick up a few things we need. They only got 2 day passes to the parks and are going to go with us tomorrow.

Beautiful weather today. We went to Hollywood Studios. I was looking forward to going to this park. When I went with Mom and Hailey in 2008 we only went to the Brown Derby and then to see Fatasmia so I was interested to see what this park had to offer. I will have to say my brain was not working today. I think too many sleepless nights was the problem. Bob had a cold and was snoring so loud most nights that he kept me up and even woke Cameron up a couple of times.

First thing Isaac and Bob did was go on the Tower of Terror. Cameron was too short and Hailey does not like drop rides so she opted out of this one. While Bob and Isaac went on the Tower of Terror, Hailey, Cameron and I visited some of the gift shops along the way. We sat down on some benches outside of the Tower of Terror and waited for Bob and Isaac. After they met us, Bob took the big kids to go and ride the Rock N' Roller coaster and I took Cameron for a walk to see if we could find Lighting McQueen and Mater and Bob was to email me when he was done and we would meet up there.

Cameron and I spotted Goofy and Pluto and he wanted to meet them so we waited in line for about 10 minutes. The autograph book I had got from the dollar store really sucked, and the character's had a hard time signing it. Cameron loved meeting and hugging Goofy and Pluto. At this time I realized I did not have my cell phone. So we headed back to where we had sat waiting for Bob and Isaac. I saw Bob and Hailey and Isaac and we all went back to see if we could find my cell phone. A gentlemen their said he had found it and gave to to a lady from guest services. So off to guest services Hailey and I went. Thank God they had it and all was well. As I said early my brain just was not working today and I must have sat it down and forgot to pick it up.

So now we where off to find Lighting McQueen and Mater. This is all Cameron talked about before we left so he was extremely excited. We found them and only had to wait for about 5 minutes. Cameron was so happy and hugged both lighting McQueen and Mater. He was a little disappointed that they didn't talk but thrilled to meet them. Cameron then spend almost all of his money on Lighting McQueen cars and a few other things they had for sale.

Lunch was next and we ate at Pizza Planet Arcade. Can you guess what we had for lunch. If you guessed pizza you are right. Pizza and Caesar salad again. The pizza was good and the kids loved it.

Next we went and saw Muppet Vision 3D. This was a great show and everyone really enjoyed it. Brought back memories of my childhood and watching that show. After that show we where off to find Toy Story Midway Mania. Bob took the kids and I waited with all their stuff. On the way to the ride they got to see the Green Army guy and get his autograph. Isaac loved this ride.

Now we rushed and I mean rushed to go and see the Lights, Motors, Action Extreme Stunt show. When we got there it had already started but they where packing the people in. We had to walk up a whole bunch of stairs. Bob went ahead with the big kids and Cameron and I took our time. Cameron is extremely slow on stairs as he only has little legs. I found and put in Cameron's ear plugs. He does not like loud noises and this show is loud. It was a really cool show that shows you how they do some stunts in the movies. I was disappointed that we missed the beginning of the show but my Motto for the trip was we can't do everything.

We where all tired so we went back to the townhouse. Everyone had naps even Hailey as she was still not feeling 100%.

Grandma and Papa offered to look after the boys so we could take Hailey out for supper. She had been so great with helping out with the boys we thought we would treat her. I tired to get us reservations at any restaurant at Hollywood Studios but could not get one. Disney had their free dining promotion on for resort guest when we where there so if you didn't book ahead you didn't get a reservation. With Grandma and Papa coming two days early we had changed our plans on what parks we where going on what days so the reservations I made where all screwed up. Probably for the best anyway as the sit down restaurants where more pricey and we didn't want to waste time at a restaurant when we could be enjoying the parks. Sometimes things work out the way they are supposed to. Anyway we took Hailey out to Pondersa. I was looking forward to this, I remember going there in Woodstock when I was a kid. I was sadly disappointed the food was ok but the buffet did not have a lot of choices of food that I liked. Hailey was impressed with the Cherry Coke she got.

After supper we headed back to Hollywood Studios to see Fantasmic. I did see it last time we where there but it was so cold and you sit on steel benches I don't remember much about the show. We where there at 6 pm and the show starts at 7:30 but the stadium was almost full. There where people every where. So glad we did not bring the boys. Isaac does not like crowds and Cameron is so small you could easily lose him. The show was awesome and the weather was even better I did not even have to wear my sweater. After the show leaving the stadium was really slow. There is got to be a better way to do it. They need another exit or something.

To avoid the rush of people leaving the park we visited some gift stores on our way out. I got the picture frame I wanted and a couple of others things. Grandma and Papa had offered to bring those items home for me so I did not have to worry about carrying them on the plane.

We made it back to the townhouse around 9:30 and the boys where very good for Grandma and Papa and where in bed. Off to bed the rest of us went.

Day 5 Feb 2, 2011

7 in a van and the little one said move over move over lol. Grandma and Papa where joining us today as we went to Magic Kingdom. We took 1 vehicle and Papa sat in the back with Hailey and Isaac. Next time we will put Cameron in the back so Papa does not have to climb out.

We took the monorail from the TTC to the entrance. I have to say that is the one thing I don't like about Magic Kingdom. You have to take the parking trams to the TTC and then take the Monorail or the Ferry Boat to the entrance. Staying at the resort last time we didn't have to do that, just got dropped of near the entrance. It takes over 30 minutes to get from the parking lot to the entrance.

After going thru security we went to guest services as we wanted to changed Isaac pass from 5 people to 6 (the maximum they will allow) and replace the one he had as he spilled juice on it the day before. As usual guest services was awesome and there was no wait.

The plan was to take the train to Toontown and walk to Fantasyland. So we did ride the train but you can't get off at ToonTown until 10 am so back to main street we went. We proceeded to walk towards the castle. We saw Minnie and Mickey mouse along with some fireworks. We stopped off at the statue of Walt and Mickey as Bob wanted to get a picture of him and Cameron in the same pose. Let's just say there was a lot of people and some of them where very rude. I did get some shots but not the exact one I wanted.

We finally made it to Fanatasyland and decided to do Dumbo first as there is not fast pass for this ride. Not too long of a wait, the kids had to wait about 10 minutes. Cameron had already determined before we left on the trip that we was going to ride Dumbo with Hailey so, Bob took Isaac and me and Grandma and Papa waited. Getting pictures was hard, you could see Bob but not Isaac both me and Papa tried but all you see in the pictures is Bob. Next Bob and Papa took Hailey and Isaac to do Snow White's Scary Adventure. I wanted Bob to go first and see if it was too scary for Cameron. Cameron is the scared cat of our family and I didn't want him to get scared and then not want to go on any more rides for the rest of the day. While they where dong that Grandma and I waited in line for Cameron to go on the Cinderella's Golden Carrousel or it may be called Prince Charming Regal Carrousel depending on which book you read. Well wouldn't you know it this ride broke down. They didn't know how long it was going to take to fix it, and the cast member told us not to wait as there is never more than a 5 minute wait for this ride as it can hold a lot of people. At this point Bob meet up with us and determined that the Snow White ride was too scary for Cameron. He then had to try and find the bathroom because Isaac had to go again. The carrousel was fixed by this time so I took Cameron on the ride. Everyone went and saw Mickey's Philhar Magic. I love this show and everyone enjoyed it. Next stop Peter Pan's Flight. Mom, Hailey and I missed this ride last time so I was happy to finally be able to go on it. Bob and Isaac went together, Cameron and Papa, Grandma and Hailey and me by myself. It was cute little ride. Now we split up, Bob had already determined before we left that we was not under any circumstances going onto the ride It's a Small world, so he and Papa took Hailey and Isaac and went and did Hunted Mansion while Grandma Cameron and I rode on It's a Small World. There was no line for It's a Small world. Grandma, Cameron and I really enjoyed the ride and Grandma and I even sang the song while on the ride. Isaac was excited that they had their very own ghost on the ride at the Haunted Mansion.

We all meet up again and decided to have lunch. We ate at The Pinocchio Village Haus. Cameron, Hailey, Isaac and I had pizza and Cesar salad with some french fires, Bob had a meatball sub, and Grandma and Papa had the chicken with rice. Everything was great and not that expensive, still Disney prices but it costs us under $40 for the 5 of us. We didn't buy drinks so that did save us some money.

After lunch the first ride we went on was The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Since Isaac pass only is for 6 and there was pretty good line, I decided to wait and everyone else went on the ride. I don't think the big kids like the ride as it is geared for Cameron's age and younger but Cameron liked it. We skipped the Mad Tea Party ride as Bob and I don't like spinning rides and Hailey still had an upset tummy so I didn't think it was a good idea for her to do the ride especially after she just ate.

Now we headed to Tomorrowland. Papa, Bob, Hailey, Isaac and Cameron waited in line and did Tomorrowland Indy Speedway. Grandma and I did some shopping and looking at the gift shop. We saw the talking and moving garbage can. I had heard about this but had never seen it. Everyone was looking around and laughing at it.
Everyone has disappointed about the speedway as their vehicles did not go very fast. Next on the agenda was Space Mountain, as Cameron was not tall enough for this ride, it was determined that Grandma, me and Cameron would go on the People Mover while everyone else went on Space Mountain. While on the People Mover we saw Papa, Bob, Hailey and Isaac in front of Space Mountain, with my loud voice they heard me and looked up and waived. Cameron thought that was really cool.

By this time we could tell Cameron was tired and Hailey was looking green under the gills. So Grandma and I decided to head back to the townhouse with Hailey and Cameron and Bob, Papa and Isaac where gong to do some more rides and then email me when they wanted me to come back and pick them up.

Grandma and Hailey got some soft ice cream while I got Cameron a rainbow popsicle like the big kids got yesterday. Cameron took about 3 licks of the popsicle and didn't want it any more. What a waste of $3.25 . After our snack we headed back thru Toontown to get to the train. We stopped off at Minnie and Mickey's house. Cameron really enjoyed that. Minie's house has a lot of interactive things to do. It was Rather busy so we did not stay long. It seemed to take hours to get to the townhouse. We had to take the train to Main street, then the monorail to the parking trams and the parking tram to the Van and the Van to the townhouse. In reality in only took about 45 minutes. Hailey and Cameron had a nap. Grandma went swimming in the pool at the townhouse and I visited with her there.

Isaac, Papa and Isaac went on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. They went and saw the show Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor. Bob said Isaac loved it and could not stop laughing. They even got to be on the screen on the stage. Papa and Isaac rode Astro Orbiter. Isaac and Bob rode Space Mountain again. They stopped for ice cream and caught the tale end of the parade. After the parade they did Haunted Manison one more time.

Bob emailed me and I had to figure out where to pick him up. I did not go the right way and ended up in the disability parking lot. Stupid me forgot my cell phone so I could not call him. I saw them walking out of the TTC and tired to wave and yell but they where too far away. I didn't want to stay long as I parked in the handicapped lot and did not want to get a ticket. So I headed out again and end up in the regular parking lot this time, the cast member was very helpful and gave me directions. I still screwed up but did a U turn and headed up to where I was supposed to and saw Papa, Bob and Isaac. I have never been so relieved. I was starting to panic.

After getting the boys back I got supper ready. We had tacos and the rest of the chicken Cesar salad.

Bob was taking this parents and Hailey back to Magic Kingdom to see the fireworks. Isaac did not want to go and Cameron just wanted to go swimming so I decided I would stay at the townhouse with them.

I took the boys to the playground but forgot the pass with the key codes so we walked there and back. No meltdowns from anyone so I was really impressed. Back at the townhouse I got the boys ready for swimming and they spend about an hour in the pool splashing around and throwing and retrieving the three float pucks I had got at the dollar store. After this all hell broke lose at the townhouse. I had Isaac go upstairs as I wanted the boys to have a bath. When I finally made it upstairs to the bathroom there was poop from one end of the bathroom to the other. Both boys stood there looking at me. Ok who did this? Of course no one seemed to know who did it. Cameron thought it was fun to slide around in it. I did not handle this very well at all. Not a good parenting moment for me. I think what happened was Isaac had a bowel movement either in the pool or when we got out. When he went upstairs and tired to take his swimming trunks off the poop went everywhere. So I gave the boys a bath, cleaned the bathroom floor, toilet and tub and some of the wall (don't ask) it was time for homework. Both boys where actually happy to do homework. After homework we ready a story and the boys went to bed. I switched the loads of laundry and went to bed myself.

Bob, Grandma, Papa and Hailey took the ferry this time to Magic Kingdom. I had thought there was a night time parade but opps I got the day wrong. They watched The Magic, The Memories and You show. This is a cool show where the project images on the castle. Next was the fireworks show and no one does it better than Disney. They did some shopping after to avoid the crowds and made it home just after 9:30 pm.

Day 4 Feb 1, 2011

We went to Animal Kingdom today. The Cast member who was directing us to our parking spot was awesome. She had so much energy. She even came over and helped us get the boys daily pictures as they were not cooperating. I think she may have had 10 cups of coffee. She was bouncing and happy.

After getting thru security, Bob took the big kids to Expedion Everst and I took Cameron on a walk to hopefully see some characters and meet up with them when they where done. We walked towards Africa and then down the path from Africa to Asisa. There seemed to be a lot of rude people today. Some guy ran over Cameron's foot with his stroller. On the path we saw a monkey that Cameron wanted nothing to do with. He hide behind my back. Then we saw Flick the great big Ant. Cameron gave him a hug. It wasn't busy on the path at all. There was no line for any of the characters. Cameron decided he was hungry again so we stopped at some benches that had a beautiful view of the Tree of life. Bob and the big kids found us and had their snacks. They really liked the Expedition ride. Note to myself DO NOT I repeat DO NOT give the boys frozen yogurt tubes. Yogurt was everywhere. On our way to the Safari ride we found a secret path. What did we find on this secret path but Blue the bear from Jungle Book and the Ape. Cameron was again scared and hide behind my back. I must say these where large characters, they where taller than Bob. Isaac did not want to meet them but Blue decided to try and get Isaac by going around Bob. Isaac thought it was fun.

Next we went on the Kilimajoro Safari. We where again grateful for Isaac's pass. We got to use the fast pass lane and go by everyone else waiting in line. We got great seats. We got to sit at the back of the vehicle. So Bob got some great shots out the back and no ones head was in the way. I had to really hold onto Cameron as we where bouncing around a lot. I had both my arms around him and was holding on to him for dear life. We saw lots of animals, Elephant and a baby Elephant, some hippos and Bob got a picture of the hippo in the water with its mouth open and a baby giraffe to mention a few.

We where all a bit tired and cranky from our fun filled day yesterday but did not want to leave. Next time if we are tired we will leave. Anyway we headed to the Wildlife Express train that takes you to Rafikis Planet Watch. It was too bad we where tired as there is a lot of cool things to do and explore. What we did do was a plant and bug hunt. There was a petting place but the big kids did not want to do it so Cameron and I went in. We got to pet some goats, and sheep. Growing up on a farm this was not very interesting for me but Cameron; a city kid, was loving it. I had to convince him to leave. Bob and the big kids where watching a show about an owl so we went and joined them. After the owl they had a skunk come out that they where in the process of training. Someone had bought this skunk as a pet, but even descented a skunk still smells like a skunk. Hailey volunteered to be a helper. She had to try and get the skunk to do a few tricks. She did not want to speak loud so it did not work out as well as they would have liked.

After this we left and picked up lunch as Bob and I where in no mood to have to try and cook something. After lunch everyone had a much needed nap.

After nap time, Mom and Cameron went shopping to Wal Mart. Cameron loves shopping at Wal Mart so he was happy to go. Bob took the big kids to the play ground near us. There was slides, and swings, and a merry go round kind of thing. Bob said that Hailey and Isaac where gong around so fast it made him dizzy. After that he took them to the resort pool. Isaac loved the slide at the pool and Hailey made some friends that where about her age.

For supper we had fish and chips and a chicken Cesar salad. Hailey was still not feeling well at did not eat very much. She actually went and layed down after supper.

We got a phone call and Grandma and Papa where nearby. Two days early, TWO DAYS EARLY. After my panic, we quickly got Hailey's stuff out of the bedroom downstairs and put her upstairs in the boys room. We had Cameron sleep on the crib matress on the floor in the closet in our bedroom. No need to panic the closet was a big as my bathroom at home.

Bob went to the security office to wait for his parents and I took Cameron swimming in the pool at the townhouse as I had promised him. That is where Grandma and Papa found us. They had great travelling time and missed all the snow storms.

Day 3 Jan 31, 2011

An early start to the day today. The boys woke up at 5:30 am. I tired to get them to go back to sleep. Isaac did fall back asleep and Cameron ended up in my bed at 6 am. The alarm went off at normal time 6:30 am so Bob got up and had his shower and took the boys downstairs for breakfast. I got up at like 7 am and had my shower, made all the beds upstairs, picked the boys clothes out and put a load of laundry on.
Hailey got up had her breakfast and had her shower. We are going to do things differently tomorrow. As Hailey was miserable. I think we will give her her pills first thing and then let her sleep a little bit before she joins the rest of us.

Bob and I looked at the park map and put the snacks and waters in the bags. We left later than we wanted too at 8:45 am. We arrived at Epcot around 9 am and got a parking spot within walking distance of the entrance.

After going thru security we headed right to Guest Services to get Isaac's special pass. I gave them the letter Christine, Isaac OT, had written for me and we had no problem getting the pass. This pass lets us go into the Fast Pass Lanes without having a Fast Pass. You can also use the handicap entrance to some of the shows as well. We also got 3 first visit buttons and 1 birthday button for Hailey and 4 celebration buttons for the rest of us.

The first ride we did was Spaceship Earth. There was no line at all. All the kids seemed to enjoy this ride although Cameron did not like it when it was dark. He grab onto my arm and did not let go.

As we where walking towards The Seas with Nemo & Friends we cam along a show. The Jamminators. They are three guys with garbage cans and they perform a show. It was really entertaining but Isaac did not like the noise.

Next we headed to The Seas with Nemo & Friends. Again no line at all. We walked right onto the ride. Isaac and Bob went first, Hailey and Cameron rode together and I had to go all by myself. Isaac loved this ride and found Nemo several times. After this we waited for about 5 minutes and went into the show Turtle Talk with Crush. The kids get to sit up front and the parents sit on benches at the back. We made sure Isaac got to sit on the end and Hailey sat in between the boys. Bob sat so he could see the kids and I sat further back as there was not enough room for Bob and I to sit together. This is a very cute show where Crush comes into the tank and talks to the kids. Isaac got picked to ask Crush a Question. As a parent you are holding your breath waiting to see what they are going to say. Isaac had a great question he asked "What do Turtles do at the Beach" Crush had just finished asking the kids what do Humans do at the beach. So I was really impressed that Isaac #1 was paying attention and #2 stayed on topic a very difficult thing for Isaac to do. After the show we spent some time exploring the fish tanks and exhibits they have. We even saw a scuba diver in a small tank.

Next Stop lunch. We where trying to eat early to avoid the crowds so this was around 11:15 or so. We at at the Sunshine Seasons in the Land Pavilion. The boys had PB & J with apple sauce, carrot sticks and a juice box. Hailey, Bob and I got sandwiches. Bob and I thought the sandwiches where great but Hailey eat some of hers and complained the rest of the day as she kept burping up the taste of the sandwich and had an upset tummy for the rest of the day.

The Land pavilion seemed really busy and crowded. We took the boat ride Living with the land. I still can't believe how big the pumpkins where. They had a scene on the ride that showed a farm and Cameron thought it was Grandma Taugher's Farm. He wanted to go and visit. Too cute. Next was my favourite ride of the day Soarin'. Bob doesn't pay attention some times and if it wasn't for Hailey, Isaac would not have been buckled up properly. You had to put the seat belt thru another loop is the person was not tall enough. Thank Gosh Hailey noticed. I didn't as I was too busy trying to get Cameron buckled up and try and store my big bag under neath the seat. The attendant took my bag as it was too big too fit. The look on Cameron's face was priceless. I have never seen his eyes so big. I think he liked the ride. He kept moving his feet trying to touch the tree tops and the water.

At this point Isaac was a bit over stimulated so we thought we would do Journey into Imagination with Figment. This was the best thing for Isaac as it had a lot of sensory things going on. It worked like a charm and he seemed to calm down again.

Last ride of the day was Captain EO. I would not recommend this ride at all. Defiantly could of missed it. It was made in 1986 and featured Michael Jackson. It was one of the first 3D movies. Boring and the movie made no sense what so ever. A big disappointmente. They replaced Honey I shrunk the Audience with this. I think they are trying to capitalize on Michael Jackson.

We took a break and the Cameron got a Mickey Ice cream sandwich and Hailey and Isaac got a rainbow freeze. $3.25 each, Disney sure knows how to charge. While we where having our snack we got to see the JAMMinaors again.

We went to Innoventions West and explored. This is a great place with lots of hand on stuff to do. I thought it was geared for older kids but in fact it was geared for Cameron and Isaac's age group. Hailey still had fun but it was more for little kids.
Bob, Hailey and Isaac started doing the Piggy Bank game and Cameron and I caught up with them after we went to the bathroom and cleaned up after the ice cream sandwich.
After that went to the Velcro show. We were not going to but a girl around Hailey's age told us it is a great show where everyone gets to participate so we decided to give it a try. Isaac got to participate in the Velcro building block race. His team lost and Isaac handled it very well. He has improved so much. Then it was Bob's turn to participate. We had to wear a apron and put a diaper on a baby doll and give it a bottle and then Velcro it to his apron. The Dad with the most babies wins. It was a tie with 5 1/2 babies each. I don't even know how you get 1/2 a baby but they did.
Next Isaac and Daddy and Cameron did create your own Video game and Hailey and I did another interactive game. Bob took the boys to a game with fire trucks and Hailey did the create your own video game.

On the way out we hit the gift shop and I got postcards and a few other things. Money goes really really fast at Disney.

We drove back to the resort and I got us the pass for the resort pool. For supper Me, Bob and Hailey had my homemade potato soup with garlic bread and the boys had Toast and some fruit. After supper we made the kids do some homework. Yes homework on Holidays we are mean mean parents.

We decided to go the resort pool even though it was a bit cool outside. I convinced Bob to Drive over as it would be cold on the way back. The water was beautiful but you froze your butt off when you got out.

We came back and Bob put the boys to bed and Hailey went swimming in the pool at the townhouse and I watched her.

Day 2 Jan 30, 2011

We woke up to fog. So very disappointed. As we arrived at night we didn't get to see anything and now with the fog we still did get to see any of the landscape.

Surprise Surprise the boys woke up normal time 6:45 am. So we got up showered and had breakfast. Bob and I and Cameron went to Wal Mart to get supplies and Hailey stayed and babysat Isaac for us. This was a Super Wal Mart so they had the stuff we needed and more. We did not get all our shopping done as we had to get back and put the stuff away and get to Chef Mickey for our 11:15 am. reservation. However the sun came out and it was a bright and sunny day.

We took a wrong turn going to Chef Mickey at ended up at the parking lot to Magic Kingdom the attendant quickly told us how to get to the Contemporary Resort. We had to cross like 6 or 8 lanes but we did it and no accident happened.

The Contemporary Resort is very impressive. No Charge for parking a big surprise that Disney doesn't charge for something. We got to take the elevator up to the 4th floor for Chef Mickey. The kids where all in awe of the Monorail as comes right inside the building.

We got a Magical Experience. After Bob checked us in and we got our picture taken. I went and talked to the lady assigning tables and explained that Isaac has Autism and could we get a table in a corner not one in the middle of everything. I told her we are willing to wait for such a table. She said she would look into it and was glad I said something as they would have put us in the middle of the dinning room. I went back to where Bob and the kids where and she came and got me and took me and showed me two tables to see if they would work. I choose the second one and then we where ushered to our seats. Great Customer Service.

Isaac was not into meeting the characters and just wanted to wave at them. We had him sit at the table so he could see them coming up the stairs. Cameron however was really into it. He wanted to give each and everyone a hug. He had a smile from one ear to the next. The food was OK nothing special. Breakfast buffet with Mickey Waffles. Those where the kids favourites. Our server make sure we got to see all the characters. We got to see, Goofy, Pluto, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck. Isaac was excited to see Donald Duck as he is the silliest one and gave him a great big hug. Minnie Mouse gave Cameron a kiss on his head and he said it was even better than Mommy's kisses.

After Chef Mickey we went into the gift shop and all the boys got their Disney hats. Bob got a Goofy one, Isaac got a Mickey ears hat with the sorcery's hat on it, and no surprise Cameron got a Car hat. Hailey picked out ears with a fairy train for her self.

Now we where going to ride the monorail. We did, there are 3 runs, 1 to the resort, 1 to Magic Kingdom and 1 to Epcot. The one to Epcot was my favourite as you go around Epcot and you can see the rides.

When we stopped at the TTC we got off and took the Ferry Boat to Magic Kingdom. As we where stopping to get pictures of the castle. Fire Works went off. Bob got the shot.

After all that we went back got our car and drove back to the townhouse. On the way back we purchased some beach towels. $16.99 each we should have purchased them from Wal Mart for $10.00 but they where $21.00 at Disney. When we got back Bob took the kids swimming in the pool at the townhouse and I put stuff away and organized things a bit.

Isaac, Mom and Dad went and got our Sim cars for our cell phones and got the rest of the grocery shopping done. We went to Public, the one that the resort recommended. If you got to the one near Disney the prices are more expensive. Their fresh fruit and produce sucked. I got what I could as I did not want to have to go somewhere else.

After coming back and putting those groceries away we had breakfast for supper. One of the kids favourite.

After supper Bob took the kids to explore the resort and get the pool pass while I stayed back and made some meals to freeze. Bob went to the club house but the place we needed to get the pass was closed but they where just starting a movie in the theatre room. So the kids got to watch Marmaduke with one other family. I made two containers of Potato Soup, 1 stir fry, and fired the meat for the taco's. The knifes they had at the townhouse could not cut hot butter. I had to use two hands to cut thru the carrots. I was not impressed at all.

Bob came back and we got the kids to bed around 8:45. Cameron had troubles sleeping so he came back down and played for a bit.

Bob and I got the bags ready to go to Epcot tomorrow. It was a great first day in Florida.

Day 1 Getting There

We left at 8:15 am. It was snowing and the roads where slippery in Waterloo. The further we drove the better the roads where. The boarder crossing took less than 10 minutes. There was no toll and you are on a island. We arrived at the airport at 10:30 good travelling time. So we had to kill time until our 3 pm flight. We drove around a bit and then had lunch at Denny's. After that we had to try and find somewhere to purchase children's Tylenol. I had packed some but Bob's said he was not going to dig thru 4 suitcases to find it. So we finally found a grocery store and Hailey and I went in to purchase some for Cameron who was running a fever.

So now we could go to the airport. The parking lot had lots and lots of vehicles covered under different levels of snow. We could not find a parking spot anywhere. Out of no where we hear honking. The shuttle driver told us to follow him and he found us a parking spot. He gave Bob a ticket so we can find our van again when we come home. I hope Bob doesn't lose it or we will never find our van.

The check in area was very crowded so Hailey took the carry ons and the boys and went and sat out of the way on a bench. After that we headed for security. Isaac had gotten a tour at the Waterloo Airport so he was telling us we had to take our shoes off and sweaters and put our bags on the belt. Security was almost empty. They waived us to a line all by our selves. Everyone did well although Cameron went thru really slow and was kind of scared but the officer didn't even smile and just kept waving at Cameron to go thru.

Off to Gate 16 we went only 2 more hours to hurry up and wait. I took all three kids for a walk from one end of the airport to the other. We did some jumping and pushing of walls to try and help Isaac and the other kids so they could sit for the 2 1/2 hour plane ride. Lunch did not agree with me and I spent a lot of time in the airport bathroom. Thank God the gravol I took kick in. Hailey had to come and get me out of the bathroom as they where having everyone line up for preboarding. We got Isaac a blue boarding pass which meant we got to board before everyone else. That really helped. Bob and Isaac where second on the plane. They went to the back and saved our seats. The rest of us; Hailey, Cameron and I, got to board when they had family boarding. I do not think I would like South West if Bob did not save our seats. A lot of people did not get to sit with their travelling companions and their was a lot of complaining going around. Bob had a lady sit beside her. Her and her husband where gong to Florida to sell and get rid of her Mother In Laws stuff as she had passed away before Christmas. The flight crew was awesome, they sang, and made jokes and where great with the kids. A+ for sure.

We arrived in Orlando on time at 5:40. Hailey helped Bob with the luggage and I sat with the boys. Now to find the rental car. We got an upgrade from a Kia to a Toyota Sienna a very nice van. We however did get screwed on the second driver charge. I had booked everything thru Price Line but had called Hertz to find out how much they would charge for a second driver. They told me $13.00 a day but it if I had a CAA membership in my name it would be free. I even asked does it matter that I booked thru price line and not CAA. They assured me that would be fine. I still didn't believe it so I called the 1-800 number the day before we left and they told me the same thing. So Bob got me a secondary CAA membership in my name for $40.00 We ended up paying $65.00 for me to drive. The guy did wave some other fees or it would have been almost $100.00.

So now we had to find our way to the management company so we could leave our deposit and get the keys for the townhouse. We found it no problem. Left our credit card information for the deposit and got the codes for the door and the security alarm. No keys to lose for us. Bob and Hailey went into Publix (a grocery store) and got some supplies and subs for them for supper and lunchables for the rest of us. All the kids where excited that they got apple jacks for breakfast.

We found the townhouse and it was exactly like the pictures. What a relief. When you book something on line you are taking every ones word for it. So I was relieved.

A long day of travelling but we made it and no one not even me had a melt down.

Yeah we are in Florida
